MyDefence: From a small startup to an international business
As a small startup company, MyDefence initiated a cooperation with OrCAD channel partner in Denmark - Nordcad Systems A/S. Since then, MyDefence has grown, and can today show off large, international partners on their reference list.
Business growth in just two years
The need for the right tools for developing electronics, was in August 2014 the beginning of a close cooperation between MyDefence in Nørresundby and Nordcad in Aalborg, Denmark. As a new customer, MyDefence started designing PCBs on a trial license. Quickly, the company needed to be able to develop larger diagrams and designs. The trial license was upgraded to OrCAD® starter pack for start-ups. The OrCAD starter pack includes PCB Designer and Capture, two days training, free program updates and more, which is developed by Nordcad specific for start-up businesses.
Cooperation and understanding paves the way to success
Close cooperation and understanding of the customer’s needs is important in order to create a relationship that leads to success. MyDefence wanted their electronic designs to reach a higher level, and Nordcad delivered a scalable solution that met the requirements.

Today MyDefence is one of the major successes in OrCAD’s customer database. From a very small business, they have in short time grown into a large – and still growing - business in science- and technology industry, and is in cooperation with some of the largest Danish and international organizations.
