EDIF import into Orcad 10.3 problem
I am trying to import a design from Mentor Graphic's Design Architect.
I'm using EDIF ver 2 0 0 export from Design Architect, but whenever i import it all the busses are getting smashed down to nets.
Design Architect does have the option to export netlist EDIFs or schematic EDIFs. Which one is the correct one to do? Are there options in the Orcad config file that need to be adjusted?

Additional background:
A few months ago, i tested this import and it worked. Since then Design Architect has been upgraded, from version v8.9_2.29 to v8.10_3.1. And the tool within Design Architect has changed from "esiwrite: EDIF200 Writer" to "MGC EDIF 2 0 0 Schematic Writer." I can't go back to the old version of Design Architect, but given that it worked better before it seems like its probably an export option that is being missed now. However, I don't know what options to look for.
Comparing the format/syntax of the early EDIF to the latest EDIF, it looks pretty similar, however it looks like the new one uses a lot of different "constant" names. I'm not really sure what I'm seeing though. But I did key into some off page connector names, where in the old EDIF they would be defined like this:

(offPageConnector (array (rename CPU_XGPIO_28_7_3A_1_29_ "CPU_XGPIO(7:1)") 7))

but in the new EDIF the line looks like this:

(offPageConnector (rename CPU_XGPIO_40_7_58_1_41_ "CPU_XGPIO(7:1)"))

I manually edited the new EDIF's lines to include the "(array" and the " 7)", but the busses still got squashed during the import.

Here's the typical error messages the Orcad log about a bus getting squashed:
Warning: Bus CPU_XGPIO(7:1) contain only one scalar Net.
         Replaced with scalar Net CPU_XGPIO6.
Warning: Net alias changed from CPU_XGPIO(7:1) to CPU_XGPIO7

Appreciate any recommendations...

You can submit your EDIF200 schematic to your VAR or to Cadence
and describe the problem.
