[DRC0027] Other parts in this package have different values or PCB footprints. U1.A
|
|
|
I encounter this problem above . u1 has 4 heteregeous parts in a package. i tried to solve this by the tip to change footprint and reference ,but i found footprint empty and reference the same . by the way ,if delete u1.A with B,C,D left in sch, it is OK. this is the point i can't convince myself ! i am really confused and run out of my method to solve this . is there anyplace i didn't find the root of the problem ? could anyone kindly help, please ? thanks in advance!

To make sure all the parts in the package have the same footprint and value, select all four parts at once and goto Edit Properties, it should be obvious if they are different. If these properties are blank (empty) then you need to add the same footprint and same value to all.

thank you for reply. i did exactly what you've said, but it didn't work anyway. i now doubt about the correctness of package in lib ,but it didn't remind me of any problem when saving. admond

Hi admond,
Also, make sure the cache has only one instance for the packaged part. This error can happen if one part of the package comes from separate library parts.
Hope this helps.

thank you, i have solved this problem . it is a very tiny privy ; even you couldn't notice it . i here remind webmates of this . the probblem was hiding the libaray file. because i made 4 parts of this package and each one is very large and the text names are very small on bottom with A a litte different from B,C,D. I wish everybody else will avoid such stupid one. finally thank you all again.
