What's New in OrCAD 16.6 QIR 5
The newest OrCAD® 16.6 Quarterly Incremental Release, QIR#5, was released on February 7th and is now available from your local Cadence Channel Partner. Check out what’s new! Quarterly Incremental Releases (QIRs) deliver new OrCAD features in-between major releases. This accelerated release process was introduced in the 16.6 release. QIR updates are available to all customers on maintenance.


Schematic-level, Rapid PSpice Model Association
OrCAD® Capture now supports instance-level PSpice® model assignment directly to components in the schematic editor. PSpice models can be associated to an OrCAD Capture part using the 'Associate PSpice Model' command from the Tools menu or from the RMB pop-up menu after selecting the part.

Temperature Sweep for Monte Carlo
